Team Building Activity Report

On Sunday, May 18, 2014, following the annual Spiritual Conference in Toronto, many of our young people and adults participated in the Team Building Activity, hosted by the ECFC Youth Department. Organized by Br. David Zic and the Youth Board from North California Conference (NCC), this event appealed to many as they used their brains, muscles and vocal chords on the grounds of our Puslinch Church.

Being part of the different teams was lots of fun. The main focus of these activities was to learn how to work as a team and build long term friendships among our youth. One aspect of these activities required possession and knowledge of the subject matter of the Sabbath Bible lessons. The questions asked required the knowledge of the chronological content of the Bible history discussed in the lesson, as well as other answers found there. These answers were vital in the working out of the team activity which went much further than an intellectual mind exercise.

Overall it was a wonderful afternoon, where our youth/teenagers could spend some time in nature and learn to work as a team. After a few hours, and obvious weariness, all were pleasantly surprised as our sisters provided a healthy and tasty supper. A wonderful success!

For the Youth Department,

The guest speakers at the conference - D. Sureshkumar, L. Tudoroiu and D. Zic - will present soul-stirring messages firmly rooted in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. These messages will connect the past with the present and also remove the veil from the events that will take place in the near future.
